MTC Motorsport Audi S4 S5 B9 3.0TFSI Stainless Steel Decat Downpipe with Heat Shield
- The S4 downpipe and flanges are machined from SS304 aircraft-grade stainless steel and are tig welded in house
- The downpipe is 5” straight out of the turbo and 2.5” when it splits into 2 which provides a sharper throttle response due to faster spool of the turbo.
- Provides noticeable power gains and a much more aggressive exhaust note which sounds truly amazing. Feedback from customers is that the downpipe crackles and bangs but is quiet on the motorway which is perfect.
- It produces lower temperatures and less exhaust backpressure due to the relief of the turbocharger. The cylinder charge is increased meaning you get maximum performance.
- There is also a substantial weight saving in comparison to the factory catalytic converter.
- The decat is mandrel-bent for better gas flow and maximum internal size to ensure ultimate performance without the loss of mid-range torque.
- Finished in brushed stainless
- Heat shield fabricated over the full downpipe to minimise the heat in the engine bay.
We have tested this product and found increases of around 25-30bhp on test vehicles however, it does have the capability of increasing horsepower by 120-150bhp once your car has a stage 2 map.
This downpipe will fit the following models:
- Audi S4 B9 3.0TFSI Avant and Sportback
- Audi S5 B9 3.0TFSI Cabriolet and Coupe
Professional installation is recommended as some exhausts sit slightly different from others. We also recommend purchasing a Lambda Sensor Spacer(s) to prevent the engine light coming on in most cases (unless you are tuning the car) If you search our other items you will find these.
This product comes with a lifetime warranty.
Car sounds unreal, definitely worth the money... gutted I didn't order this sooner!!
I have a stock cat back exhaust , and this makes it sound amazing ,really worth the money , welds are good can’t fault the fabrication , installation unfortunately is going to be a problem for some , OEM cat has 1 stud on each flange for the flexi down pipe so getting a bolt through flange with the angle of the pipe require hammering the heat shield in and then getting the bolt through by pulling it through with a hex nut on the other side , but apart from slightly pushing the heat shield in you can’t fault this product would definitely recommend it.
