MTC Motorsport Turbo Muffler Delete 2.0 TFSI

The IHI turbocharger bolted to your engine is equipped with a turbo muffler at the compressor outlet. This is designed to reduce noise from the turbocharger by using two holes cut into the side walls that create chambers. The turbulence in the chambers cause the exiting air to produce back pressure which negatively affects performance and response.

• The MTC muffler delete is machined from a single piece of billet aluminium and then anodised in black.
• It will come with new seals.
• This modification will provide a massive improvement to the response and torque.
• We have also seen some surprising power gains with just this installed.
