MTC Motorsport Volvo 2.4d Resonator Delete Hose
This hose completely deletes the plastic resonator which is prone to failing on these cars. This hose keeps the same size from top to bottom so is not restrictive like the standard resonator which reduces massively in size at the bottom.
Took my mechanic less than 1/2 hr to fit. Brought 2 x 50mm to 70mm securing clamps from Halfords. Excellent product and great replacement of the original useless turbo pipe resonator. XC90 drives perfectly again, no hissing noise. Doesn’t sound any different. 👍🏼

A must have for d5s with the boost pipe resonator still on. They fail and give you boost issues and limp mode and are difficult to track down the issue.
Easily replaced in 15mins with this, and at a price you can reconcile.
